| Do i need to be computer savvy to use web hosting? |

No. We have made it as simple as possible to use our services. Our services are designed for the real un computer literate and the IT Professional.
There are two control panels that you will use when you use our service. One will be the billing control panel and the other will be the web hosting panel. Both are easy to use and dont take too much getting use to.
It does help however if you know how websites work in order to build them and have a bit of knowledge of FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Don't worry if you don't!
We are in the process of building the 'How to Guide' This guide will contain over 100 video based tutorials on topics from explaining how the internet works, through to uploading your site, building it, creating email accounts and much more.

| How long does it take to set up my web hosting. |
|
When you order a web hosting package from us, it will be setup instantly after the payment has been recieved. If you ordered a domain with your hosting account it may take upto 48 for the domain to appear although the hosting account will be live instantly. |

| How do i contact support? |
|
If you ever need to contact support. You can either phone us or send us a support ticket by going to the support section. |

| Can you help me move my site over? |
|
Yes we can. We first need to have a look at your current setup with your current host. Once we have had a look, we can then tell you if we are able to move your site over.
There is a small one off fee of £25.00 to move your site over. If your site is advance and requires more work than the average site to move over, then there will be a quote given on request.

| How to order? |

| Can i buy a domain without hosting? |
|
Yes you can. You can either pick a free subdomain (yourname.chostwales.com) or use your domain name from another provider.
If you are using your domain from another provider, please update the name servers of your domain name under the DNS Management panel from your provider to:

|
Yes, just order a hosting package and enter the domain you want to be on the main account. In the DNS Management control panel of your domain, just make sure that the name servers are assigned to:

| I have a domain with another provider, can i use it with your hosting |
|
Yes, If you would like to use your domain from another provider, please update the name servers of your domain name under the DNS Management panel from your provider to:

| I have the 'Give me ago' account and want to upgrade. How? |
|
To upgrade, simply login to the billing system and select your account and press upgrade. Then choose the package you would like to upgrade to. |

| Technical Stuff |
|
| What is storage allowance, bandwidth etc and what happens if i use it all up? |
|
Storage Allowance is how much disk space you have for your websites, emails, databases and web disks. When your storage allowance gets to about 80% its about time to consider upgrading your account to the next package.
Bandwidth is how much data can be used. Each time someone comes to your site, bandwidth is used up. High traffic sites will see their bandwidth used up more than low bandwidth sites. 80% will never use more than 75% of their bandwidth.
We have put safe guards in place in the form of email announcements when you get close to using all your storage allowance or bandwidth.
If you use up all your storage allowance, you site will still be operational. However things like emails will not be delieved to you. If you use up all your bandwidth a message will appear on your site stating that you have used up all your bandwidth. You can either upgrade to the next package, pay a one off fee for extra bandwidth for the month or just wait till the end of the month when your bandwidth limit renews. |

| What is scripting and how can i make use of it? |
|
Scripting is the same as programs on your computer, but online. There are tens of thousands of scripts out there that are compatiable and can be installed on our shared hosting enviroment.
If you don't no how to install scripts, dont worry. We have a huge library of scripts avaliable in your control panel. These are what we call 'Web Apps' and all you have to do is click install to get going! |

| Should i backup my files? |
|
In one word. YES! Even though we take regular backups of your account, we never provide a 100% garauntee on your data being restored sucsessfully (although were 99.9% sure).
It's also good practice to take backups yourself as you can restore your account should you make any big mistakes.
To make a backup, simply log into your web hosting control panel and goto the backup manager and choose which type of backup you would like to create. |

| How secure and reliable will my website be? |
|
Well... We garauntee 99.95% uptime of your website and will perform regular backups.
Your data is secured in state of the art, perimetered fenced 24/7 guarded data centres. We hope this gives you some reassurance. |

| Can i run my own scipts? |
|
Yes! All hosting accounts come with PHP scripting and MySQL Server Databases. As long as you do not require root or admistration privlidges and your scripts do not consume to much system resources we are happy for you to run them. |

| What is the minimum term? |
|
Web Hosting work on either a monthly contract or an annually payment basis. If you want to make use of the free domains that come with your hosting package, you will have to sign up and pay for the year upfront.
The longer you agree to host your website with us for, the more rewards you get in terms of discounts off the annual fee. |

| How do i cancel my hosting agreements with you? |
|
We hate to say goodbye. If you ever need to cancel your hosting with us, please submit a support ticket or give us a call. |

| How do i downgrade my account? |
|
To downgrade your account, simply goto the billing system, select your account and downgrade. Any money due will be credited to your account. |
